A session is for one hour and costs £60.00
I have been an accredited counsellor with the British Association of Counsellors & Therapists since 2001, and am also a Fellow of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists. I abide by the ethical frameworks of these bodies.
The sessions are confidential. I do not share information about clients or details from sessions in a way that means individuals could be easily identified. I regularly discuss my work with an experienced supervisor, in a way that protects the anonymity of clients, in line with good professional practice. There would be an exception to this if I believed the client might seriously harm themself or another, or if I was compelled by law to disclose information, and I would discuss this with the client in such a circumstance.
I have a cancellation policy that means that once a session is agreed, but cannot be kept by the client, I will look to find a mutually convenient alternative time in that week; if this is not possible, the fee for the session that has been booked is due.
