A session is one hour and costs £60.00.
I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, a Senior Accredited Member and Honorary Fellow of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, and a Registered Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists. I abide by the ethical frameworks of these bodies.
Sessions are confidential. I do not share information about clients or give out details about what they have told me, in a way that means an individual could easily be identified. I regularly discuss my work with an experienced figure in the profession in the context of my own supervision, in line with good professional practice.
I would only share details about a client if I believed they were seriously going to hurt themselves or another, or if I was compelled by law to do so.
I have a cancellation policy that means if a session has been agreed but then cannot be kept by the client, I will try to find an alternative time in that week. If that is not possible, the fee for that session is due.
